For many software and hardware components, performance can be optimized by setting various parameters, implementing Best Practices and utilizing application-dependent techniques. To have good overview of the system's behavior, both long-term and peak load monitoring is used. All vital performance data is collected and visualized, e.g.:



Having visual overview, one can easily associate graph values to see bottlenecks and their cause. Log file analysis is speeded up.

Host and service availability is monitored for functional status of running services and hardware availability, with hierarchical notifications and escalations via e-mail or SMS. This enables immediate knowledge of unexpected outages and correct escalations to management staff.
